Are there good schools on the Oregon Coast?

Lincoln County Schools
Lincoln County residents benefit from outstanding schools. Except for the Siletz Valley Charter School that the school district doesn’t control, academic achievement in all Lincoln County schools scored satisfactory or better in the 2012 Annual Measurable Objective (AMO) Reports / Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) Reports and School and District Report Cards.

Academic achievement in the Sam Case Elementary and Isaac Newton Magnet Schools in Newport and in the Crestview Heights and Waldport High Schools in Waldport was found to be outstanding. The Sam Case Elementary School in fact was selected as a Statewide Model School and its strong academic programs will be included in an Oregon State “Tool Kit” to help other schools achieve similar performance. See the Lincoln County Schools website for more information about Lincoln County Schools.
